The Property
This impeccable 17th Century Chateau, set in its own private grounds, is
situated only 1 hour and 15 minutes from Calais in the green countryside of Picardie. The property is divided in two - the main chateau and a neighbouring
carriage house. The chateau comprises of 2 living rooms, a grand dining room, a
fully-equipped kitchen, 8 bedrooms (4 doubles, 2 twins and 2 triples) and 3 bathrooms. The carriage house comprises
of 2 dormitories (to sleep 8 and 6 in single beds) and a large bedroom with a
double and 2 singles. It has a living room with chimney, a dining room, a
kitchen and 4 bathrooms. There is also a conference room/banquet hall (to hold 150 people)
within the grounds that is available for hire. Outside the castle is situated in
beautifully maintained grounds, surrounded by the park and meadows with horses.

The Northern tip of France is most famous for its WWI
monuments (in particular the Somme memorials), the great towers of Laon's gothic
cathedral, the vintage champagne at Epernay and moules frites. The chateau is
surrounded by green countryside, typical of the region, where you can enjoy a
hearty family ambience and traditional home Picardie cooking. Horse-riding and
trekking can be enjoyed on site. Locally there is a notable museum, plenty of
gothic architecture (characteristic of the region), numerous chateaux,
restaurants and services.

The property is situated 1 hour and 15 minutes from Calais. Beauvais airport
is 70km away.
