The Property - This 19th Century Chateau, situated in a small but charming town, lies on 3 hectares of its own sloping landscape in the heart of Picardie. The Chateau has 8 bedrooms (of which the majority have their own shower), 2 bathrooms, a large living room with open fireplace, a dining room, a fully-equipped and spacious kitchen and a games room with table-tennis. Outside there is a large terrace to enjoy outdoor dining and BBQ’s whilst you admire the stunning scenery that surrounds you. The grounds include your own private forest. No smoking indoors. This castle (1870) with its beautiful surroundings is a source of inspiration. 25 km from Heucourt lays Amiens, a city full of activities. Characteristic living room, spacious kitchen. 8 bedrooms, many supplied with shower and toilet. Duvets & pillows provided. Linen can be hired at a cost of 15 euros per person. 2 bathrooms (1 with toilet, washbasin, shower - 1 with bath). Large terrace, with garden furniture. Play cellar with table tennis. Energy consumption costs will be deducted from the 300 euro security deposit. There is also a compulsory cleaning charge of 95 euros payable on arrival.

Interesting Information - The private forestry area that encircles the chateau and its local surroundings are enough to derive endless enjoyment from. However, those wishing to explore further can visit Amiens, 25 km from Heucourt, a city full of activities and history. Within 3 quarters of an hour, you will be on the coast where you have the choice of the rugged rockeries at Le Treport or the broad sandy beach of Le Crotoy. The neighbouring river de Somme is an ideal place for water lovers and hikers. The local town of Airaines (5 km) has all the necessary shops, markets, restaurants, bars and tourist information.

Getting There - Amiens is the closest airport. Calais is an hours drive away.
