The Property: This 19th Century Chateau is set in the sloping, hilly landscape of the Pas de Calais. The modern and luxurious décor of the castle is strikingly combined with the authentic details which have ensured that the characteristic atmosphere of the castle have remained in tact. The property has a large hall, cellar, drawing room, dining room, fully-equipped kitchen, 10 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms (including one with Jacuzzi). It is centrally heated and as a result can be used throughout the year. Outside is a terrace, all the necessary garden furniture and a sizeable garden. There is also a boules track and BBQ that can be enjoyed in the total seclusion that the property offers. The whole castle and its grounds have a special charm.

Interesting Information: Pas de Calais is flat country with an attractive hinterland, impressive settlements and the not to be missed white chalk rocks of Côte d'Opale. The area is steeped in historical significance - Agincourt and Crecy, two of the most important Anglo-French battles of the Middle Ages, took place in the region. The pretty town of Hesdin on the River Canche is 14 km away and has a market, restaurants and shops. For those wishing to remain close to the Chateau you can pick up all you need locally. Popular activities include trekking, cycling and horse riding.
