its river valleys that consist of winding canyons reaching up to inspiringly
beautiful high green peaks. The property lies in close proximity to the historic
and picturesque towns of Spa, Stavelot and Malmédy. The town of Spa, famous for
its thermal waters (starting from about 15 euros for individual baths &
treatments), is also home to the oldest casino in the world, dating back to
1763. Stavelot is well known for its festivals, including its annual carnival
held on the 3rd weekend before Easter, as well as the theatre and music
festivals in July & August. Malmédy is recommended for its lively restaurants
and smart shops. The nearby Hautes Fagnes area accommodates Belgium’s highest
peak and makes for some great hiking.

sloping mountain ridges and wild rockery, rivers which run between woods and
rocks and the famous sources (like Spa or Chaudfontaine).
And of course the waterfalls of Coo and the nature reservation De Hoge Venen
with the peat puddles, forests and the heath. And it is also a marvellous area
