Fief of the Dukes of Brissac since the 26th May 1502, this ancestral home offers
you a unique stay in one of its four historical Suites. Each one has its own
precious furniture and boasts a remarkable view on to the park, adorned with
flowers, lakes and meadows. Savour the atmosphere and the peaceful rhythm of
chateau life within the ancient walls. Kings and Queens of France sojourned
here, famous personalities and actors have embellished our Guest Book. The
picturesque park offers you the shade of its trees and the scenic paths. Our
village will delight you by its charming lanes and market with its savoury local
products. Naturally, your excursions will lead you into the heart of the Loire
wine region, discovering the artistic cities of Angers and Saumur and several
prominent castles like Serrant, Villandry, Azay-le-Rideau. Upon your return,
when evening approaches, a candle-lit dinner with of fresh flowers awaits you.

We completely take in hand the organisation of your conference from your arrival
until your departure:
we specialise in the Art of Receiving! Receiving many conference groups each
year, from 15 to 200 persons, the chateau known as the “Giant of the Loire
Valley” will receive your collaborators and clients in great comfort and style.
An ideal location for your meetings, the castle and its 70 hectares of parkland
offer a perfect atmosphere for work and relaxation. The quality of our welcome,
our delighful menus combined with the beauty of the chateau and its grounds,
will make this an unforgettable moment. May it be the organisation of a
congress, the launching of a new product or a general assembly, each person will

We completely take in hand the organisation of your reception from your arrival
until your departure: we specialise in the Art of Receiving ! As soon as they
have entered the main gates, your guests will be stunned by the majestic site in
front of them. Whilst from the lawn, sounds a fanfare of the hunting horns. In
the Golden Drawing room, glass in hand, the Marquis de Brissac will welcome
everyone, and share the history of his family and his 500 year castle with you.
What a surprise when you enter the “Belle Époque” Theatre which was built for
one of the Marquises de Brissac who was nothing but a show-off. Here you can
listen to a private piano recital. Surrounded by family portraits, near a huge
log fire, a succulent candle-lit dinner, served by an Angevin chef, awaits you,
on a poetic table adorned with fresh flowers.
