Description
The Château is a magnificent fifteenth-century castle offering spacious and
refined bed and breakfast rooms and apartments. It is set in a 140-acre park
located between Tours and Amboise France, just an hour from Paris on the TGV -
France's high-speed train. The castle was built by François the First for his
favourite and was the setting for the program 'Joe Millionaire' on Fox
television in 2003. Relax by the large open-air heated swimming-pool, enjoy a
game of tennis or simply enjoy the pleasure of staying at this most remarkable
French castle in the heart of the Loire Valley. Set in a calm and luxurious
location the castle is ideal for exploring the many famous castles of the Loire
Valley in France. For your wedding party, anniversary, seminar, private
reception or your special event you will want to book the François the First
Reception Room. This large vaulted reception room (320 square meters) can
accommodate 300 people for lunch or dinner and up to 500 for a cocktail party.
The Château is also an idyllic location for your honeymoon.
Bedrooms
The Château offers you 11 rooms and 3 beautifully restored apartments in the
castle and 6 rooms in the Pavilion, all in the peaceful surroundings of a
125-acre park. All our rooms have en-suite bathrooms with a shower and/or bath
and a telephone. A television can be provided free on request.
Weddings, Receptions & Seminars
The Château offers you a magnificent reception room (320 square meters) with a
stone vaulted ceiling for your wedding, reception or special event. We are able
to make your every wish come true. You can rent the François 1er Reception Room
as well as rooms or apartments in the castle or the entire castle for your
wedding. The Château is open all year round for weddings, gala evenings or that
very special event you would like to celebrate. There are rooms available for:
- Private events: weddings, anniversaries, cocktail parties, exhibits,
etc.
- Professional or corporate events: gala evenings, product launches, etc.
- Special private events: family reunions, club meetings, etc.
