associated with literature, Marie de Flavigny, countess of Agoult, Franz Listz's
egerie lived here. Their offspring, Cosima, was later to become the second wife
of Richard Wagner. Restored and rejuvenated today, the chateau is not just a
place of past but an elegant, discreet residence at the heart of the Usès
countryside
