This castle
built at the end of the 15th century, on the border of Périgord-Limousin region,
National Park, is calm and surrounded by 800 acres of woods and parkland. Your
hosts will be delighted to help you discover the monuments of the famous
historical figure Richard the Lion Heart. Inside the domaine are 5 comfortable
holiday gites that can sleep from 7 to 11 persons.
The Chateau: La Chambre Mirabeau 55 m2 - Large majestic room with a
beautiful fireplace located on the 1st floor. Chambre Empire 55 m2 - On the 2nd
floor, nice room with 19th century furniture. 3 beds ,130 cm large, 2 extra of
90cm. Private Bathroom in the turret (bath). Chambre Béatrice - On the 2nd floor
a nice romantic room with flowered wall paper; Large bed (140cm) and private
bathroom with a shower, bath. Chambre Céline - Room with 19th century furniture
and Napoléon III décor with a (150 cm) bed and an extra bed (90cm). Private
bathroom in the turret. Breakfast in the chateau is included.
La Garenne: Located at 100 metres from the castle, along the swimming
pool, La Garenne can accommodate 7 persons with children. La Garenne has just
been restored. On the first floor: 1 living room, 1 fully equipped kitchen, 1
room with twin beds and 1 shower room. On the second floor: 1 single room, 1
double room and 1 large bathroom, 1 double room and 1 shower room.
La Valade: Beautiful and vast residence of the 17th century. The garden
gives on a valley of meadows. Large living room, chimney, and a large dining
room, fully equipped kitchen (microwave oven, dishwasher, refrigerator). 4 rooms
(each one with its own bathroom). La Valade can accommodate 10 persons with
children.
Grangeneuve: Located at 300 metres from the swimming pool and of the
castle, Grangeneuve can accommodate 11 persons with children. Exposed beams,
parquet. On the first floor: 1 large living room, 1 dining room, 1 fully
equipped kitchen, 1 laundry and 1 studio. On the second floor: 2 double rooms, 1
room with twin beds, 1 room with 3 single beds, bathrooms.
Le Pressoir: Located at 1 km from the castle, The Press (a mill) can
accommodate 8 persons with children. Amusing curiosities: a rock in the kitchen,
a small cascade in the garden. On the first floor: 1 living room, 1 fully
equipped kitchen. On the second floor: 1 living room, 1 double room, 1 bathroom.
On the third floor: 2 rooms with twin beds. 1 independent studio.
Lascaux: Located at 1 km of the castle, near the Press, Lascaux will
accommodate 9 persons with children. Lascaux, the farm and an old cattle shed
became a large house. On the first floor: 1 large living room, 1 dining room, 1
large fully equipped kitchen, 1 room with twin beds, 1 bathroom. On the second
floor: 4 rooms (2 double rooms, 1 room with twin beds, 1 single room)
