Description
This charming property is situated in the countryside, one km from a small
village of a few hundred inhabitants, mainly farmers.
The house, built at the beginning of the 19th century, is a typical “Napoleon
1st Empire” style with a central part and two wings inspired by the “Villas
Toscanes” very much in vogue at that time. It is a two storey building with a
very classical distribution: on the ground floor there are two large living
rooms, a dining room, a television room, kitchen and laundry room. On the first
floor are all the bedrooms and bathrooms.
The house is surrounded by a garden and a small wood. The land around the house
is about 15 acres. It has its own swimming-pool (changing room with toilet and
two showers) and a clay tennis court.
The chateau is located near la Montagne Noire, in a very interesting
architectural and tourist area: Toulouse (55 km), Albi (50 km), Carcassonne (45
km) and Revel (12 km)

Ground Floor:
In the centre part of the building the accommodation comprises of:
Entrance hall - large and a walnut main staircase leading to the first floor.
Kitchen - which has a large chimney and a direct access to the garden through a
French window. It is fully equipped (dishwasher, 2 ovens, a microwave,
refrigerator and freezer) A large farm table allows you to take your meals in
the kitchen
Laundry room - also leads outside and has a washing machine and a dryer .

Dining room
First Floor:
A beautiful walnut staircase leads to the first floor consisting of a long
corridor with a large window at each end.
3 Bedrooms - each large with two windows, fireplace and period decoration, with
a direct access to bathrooms and toilet. Two rooms have two single beds in each
and the third room has a double bed.
3 Bedrooms - each smaller with one window. One room has a double bed and
fireplace. The other two rooms have two single bed in each. All with a direct
access to bathrooms and toilet.

Many golf courses within 20 km (Fiac, Castres and Mazamet) but also in Toulouse
and Albi.
Walks in the Montagne Noire (15 Km.), in the Haut-Languedoc Parkland.
