Chateau is available for exclusive hire for groups of up to 17 people. Situated
in the heart of the Dordogne and offering sumptuous accommodation this French
Chateau has oodles of charm, character and ambience.
Accommodation
6 en suite bedrooms. Spaciously distributed throughout
3 floors covering an area of over 1000 m² (9000 sq ft).
Ground floor:
- Fully equipped vaulted stone kitchen (dishwasher, large double-door
refrigerator, microwave oven, induction cook top, electric oven, toaster, &
electric coffee maker). Large Kitchen table. Pots, pans, dishware, glasses &
cutlery are provided. Laundry room fitted with washer & dryer. Half bathroom is
located in the hallway.
- Large formal dinning room with Renaissance fireplace. Main living room
has TV, CD/DVD/Cinema player and plenty of seating.
- Bedroom 1: 30m ² (270 sq ft), en suite bathroom and WC.
First floor:
- Bedroom 2, 20m ² (180 sq ft), 1 bed 140X90 (full/queen), bathroom
massage shower.
- Bedroom 3: 30m ² (270 sq ft), 1 bed 140X90 (full/queen), bathroom with
Jacuzzi.
- Bedroom 4: 50m ² (450 sq ft), 1 bed 200X200 (king), bathroom with
Jacuzzi.
- Bedroom 5: (suite with sitting room), 80m ² (720 sq ft), 1 bed 180X200
(king) bathroom with Jacuzzi.
- Bedroom 6: 80m ² (720 sq ft), 1 bed 180X200 (king) en suite bathroom
(massage shower & Jacuzzi) and dressing room.
- There is an additional room that can be used as a bedroom if necessary.

Perigueux 10 mins – the capital city of the Dordogne; famous for its shops,
market and historic sites. Brantome 25 min., Sarlat 40 min, St. Emilion 50 min.
Airports: Bergerac 45 km, Bordeaux 100 km.
Leisure Activities
Canoeing and Kayaking: You will find that there is plenty of canoeing to be
found locally. You can rent a canoe for a fun day or afternoon and paddle
sedately along the local river Isle, taking in the wonderful sites that can only
be seen from the river. Take a picnic lunch with you and stop off under a shady
tree along the river bank for a romantic lunch. Hire a canoe from Brantome and
paddle along the river past the Abbey and head towards Bourdeilles taking in the
sites of quaint riverside cottages, watermills and large chateaux.
Golfing Holiday in Perigueux: With the 18 hole golf course only a 5 minute drive
away in the Historic Town of Perigueux, an afternoon of golf is a must for the

Antique Boutiques: For those of you that enjoy the challenge of riffling through
the local Brocantes and Antique shops in search of that perfect French memento
there are countless stores to be found nearby. Throughout the summer months
regular Antique fairs are held in nearby villages and towns.
Cultural events: During the summer months there are many festivals and cultural
events in Perigueux, Bergerac, Bordeaux and nearby towns. Perigueux has a cinema
and theatre and hosts various fetes and music festivals within the old town.
Wine Tours: Wine tasting in the world famous vineyards of Bergerac, Bordeaux and
Saint Emilion. Visit Chateaux for free tastings and guided tours. The famous
Monbazillac Chateau with its sweet white dessert wine opens its doors for guided
tours and unrivalled views across the Bergerac vineyards. The town of Saint
Emilion and Bordeaux are now within easy driving distance down the new motorway
which runs from Perigueux to Bordeaux.
Nature Trails: Walking, jogging in our 40 acre grounds of woods, prairies and
gardens where a wealth of chestnuts, roses, wild flowers and boxwoods await you.
Historic Sites: Exploring the history of early modern humans in the famous caves
of Lascaux and other sites along the Vezere river and Dordogne valley. With
historic caves and monuments abound in the Dordogne region there are plenty of
sites to visit during your stay.
