Description
The chateau, evolved from a Roman villa, subsequently it became a home to the
Templar Knights, and now it is known popularly as a "miniature Carcassonne". It
is listed as an Historical Monument. This private chateau is the home of
Marie-France Lanson and her children. Here guests can experience the country
environment of a great nineteenth-century house and discover the pleasures of
the Languedoc and that of the adjacent region of the Cathars. The chateau with
its associated swimming pool, is situated in the tranquillity of a formal park
of some 3 hectares. Located in one of the principal AOC wine producing regions (Faugères)
of Languedoc-Roussillon, it is midway between (North/South) the Mediterranean
and the Cévennes mountains and between (East/West) Provence and the Spanish
border. The chateau is an ideal place to stay as a base to explore the
historical sites (such as Carcassonne and the Canal du Midi) and the
contemporary delights of the Languedoc, including its wine.

Weddings & Receptions
The chateau has salons and reception rooms which represent a unique setting
overlooking the park for receptions up to 200 guests.
An external car park is also available for the guests.

The seminar room has 50 people capacity.
