The estate is divided in to 3 separate properties that are fully self-contained
with their own grounds and gardens. There is the possibility to hire each one
exclusively or the entire estate for a huge reception or wedding.

The extraordinary
architecture of the abbey rises up out of this place steeped in power and
mystery. It is thus that the cellar, which is now a music room, and the gothic
room with its large fireplaces are reborn and alive. The former refectory of the
lay brothers is now renamed "Prior's table" restaurant. There is also the
breathtaking monk's room with its two bays with their ribbed vaults and
sandstone capitals and columns.
Over eight centuries of history to discover. The former cloister, the reading
gallery, the mill and the chapter house have once again their existential
vocations. The cistercians had invented everything and we must bring back to
life these magic places, which have been blessed by God and the Kings of France.
Saint Louis and Marguerite de Provence drank the water of fertility from the St.
Thibauld fountain, whose source is still in the neighbouring wood and which
quenches the thirst of our hosts today.
In turn, we can share the timeless message of this place and drink from the
source of this "new Abbaye de Thélème". 60 bedrooms, 17 rooms and lounges for

The Abbey offers in its exceptional site, vast meeting rooms for receptions,
conferences, numerous artistic and sporting events together with country walks
in the verdant valley of Chevreuse. We can let at your disposal different
reception rooms depending of the number of your guests.
La Salle des Moines
This monk's hall of 500 m2 can welcome 500 persons seated or 700 persons for a
cocktail or a buffet.
It is a room from the 12th century which is made up of two sections divided by
sandstone columns.
The caterer is imposed with a card of 15 different menus.
Salle des Chasses
Ancient hunting room of Rothschild Family with fireplace and parquet flooring.
Overlooking the Abbatiale and the monks' terrace. This room of 160 m2 can
welcome 110 people seated and 200 people for a cocktail. The caterer is
pre-selected with a choice of 15 different menus.
Salon Citeaux
Beautiful reception room overlooking the lake and the forest ,fireplace, parquet
flooring, smoking room. This room of 115 m2 can accommodate 100 persons for a
dinner or 200 persons for a cocktail. The caterer is pre-selected with a choice
of 15 different menus.
Salon Thibault
Salon near the entrance arch overlooking the park. This salon (60 m2) can
welcome 20 to 54 persons seated and 70 persons for a cocktail. The caterer is
pre-selected with a choice of 15 different menus.
Salon Saint Louis
Petit salon near the priors stable (restaurant) with sculptured wooded panels.
This salon welcomes 20 to 40 people. The caterer is pre-selected with a choice
of 15 different menus. Hour limit 1am.
Le Baron
Reception room on the first floor with a beautiful view overlooking the ruins of
the Abbey which can accommodate 16 to 20 persons seated and 25 persons for a
cocktail. Hour limit, 1 am
